Bio

This true Renaissance woman is an award winning filmmaker and has an eclectic array of experience in art and business.  She’s produced, written, directed, edited and starred in several short films and a webseries.  She also garnered a successful business career in sales and marketing and was a key factor in the increased sales of a small marketing company.

She is a graduate of the Theatre Performance Program at Humber College in Toronto, Canada where the Artistic Director claimed her first performance to be “Astounding” and where she completed her diploma with the lead role in two of the three productions.

After college she pursued her love for music by writing songs and performing as the lead singer in several bands.  Her music and songs have been featured in several short films and a television show.

Following the break-up of her last band she went on a spiritual journey and re-discovered her passion for movies.  Her first short film received Outstanding Achievement in Comedy at the Eyelens Film Festival.

With her constant desire to learn and challenge herself, she created four short films with the intention of tackling all aspects of filmmaking and chose to be the sole creator and crew member.  “I loved the pressure of having to use my creativity and my ability to think outside of the box in order to solve all the challenges that presented themselves.”

On a constant mission to better herself, Elle’s current project is a truly inspiring story about a boy who struggles to regain the innocence of his youth in spite of war and the wrath of a heartless soldier.  This Oscar worthy project has a powerful message which is destined to make a difference.

Hi Elle,

Welcome to  AWG’s new website.

Now what?

Here are some suggestions:

Have a blog? Link to it, copy it here, or just write it here. You’ve got readers.

Need help? Find a writing partner. Ask a question. You’ve got experts.

Need exposure? Customize your “My Page”. You’ve got publicity.

And, most importantly, invite your writing friends. (Don’t just invite your Uncle Charlie...unless his last name is Kaufman.) The value of a social site depends on the quality of people involved and their commitment to helping others.
